What Time Can I Book A Babysitter From?

Little Steps Agency Babysitters and Evening Nannies are available for evening babysitting  (after 18.00)

within family homes and local hotels in Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire. 

​

If you require a Babysitter before 18.00, this is deemed as a Temporary Nanny.

​

Yes.

All of our registered babysitters are Enhanced DBS checked on the Government

Update Service, reference checked and have been interviewed face to face

by the Little Steps Nanny and Events Agency Owner.

How Do I Book A Babysitter?

What Is The Fee For The Little Steps Nanny And Events Evening Babysitting Service?

​

Standard Booking Fee is £15.00 (per family, max of 3 Children)

​

Enhanced DBS Checked Babysitter 

​

Over The Age of 18 Years Old

​

Relevant Childcare Qualification and Experience

​

The booking fee does not include Little Steps babysitters hourly rate of £15+ per hour, payable direct to the

babysitter on the evening.

​

All Babysitters are required to stay within Hotel Rooms or Private Homes and do NOT use baby monitors. 

​

​

We Require A Babysitter Before 18.00, Are you Able To Help?

​

If you require care before 18.00 or supervision not in the hotel room, we can source a

Temporary Nanny.

​

The Standard Booking Fee is £20.00 (per family, Max of 3 children)

​

The booking fee does not include the Little Steps Temporary Nanny hourly rate of £ 15 - £18 per hour,

payable direct to the babysitter on the evening.

Do You Have A Minimum Booking?

 

Yes, a minimum booking of 4 hours applies. 

​

You are required to pay the Babysitter or Temporary Nanny for the full confirmed booking hours.

​

​

Do You Use Baby Monitors?

​

No.

 

All babysitters stay in the room with the children at all times.

We do not advise the use monitors, as physical sleep checks can not take place.

I Need To Cancel My Confirmed Babysitting Booking. What Happens Now?

​

 In the event of Client Cancellation, a 50% babysitter fee is payable if less than 48 hours’ notice is given.

Bookings Fees are non-refundable in the event of Client Cancellation.

Why Is The Minimum Age 18 Years Old For A Babysitter With Your Agency? 

​

Our babysitters are also childcare professionals, who hold a childcare qualification, an Enhanced DBS check on the update service and have relevant experience in the field.

We also follow the NSPCC Guidelines which state if you hire a babysitter who is under the age of 16, they are too young to be legally responsible if harm comes to your child.

If you have left your child with someone who isn’t able to take care of them, this could be seen as neglect under the law.
