A family are travelling around the EU on a large and well-known cruise ship, which will depart from Southampton on the 23rd July around mid-afternoon.

The Nanny will have their own bedroom with full board for the duration and the children will be with the Nanny for a minimum of 5 hours per day. This may consist of evening babysitting and/or taking the children in between ‘kids club’ timings for lunch or dinner.

There will be time for down time and exploring for yourself on the cruise, as the children will mainly be in the ‘kids club’ during the day on board the cruise. The Nanny will take an active part in planning exciting activities alongside the mum for the holiday periods. There is a wide age range in the ages of their daughters, so a Nanny who can relate and enjoy these ages would be beneficial.

There will be elements of sole-charge, where the mother will need to attend appointments without the children and the Nanny and the Nanny should be confident with looking after all 3 children at the same time.

Likewise, there will also be opportunities where the Nanny may only have the two youngest children as the mother would like to spend 1:1 time with her eldest.

This role would suit a Nanny who likes having another pair of hands around and is able to work as part of a team. The hours are flexible and can be full time, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm or they can be 2/3 days per week of full time hours.

The children are willing to try new foods and the Nanny would ideally meal plan each week, in advance.
Mum will be on maternity leave at first, so there will be an element of shared care during this time. She would the nanny to be a part of the new baby's routine but won't seek to place unrealistic demands on their time.
