Tuesdays and Thursdays are both 7.15am - 9.15am and also 3pm - 7.15pm. The family are happy to include an additional hour, for the Nanny to commence at 2pm and prepare a meal/batch cook for the children within this time. Wednesdays are 3pm - 5.30pm.

 

The family require a car driver and they do have a family car which the Nanny can use, which is outside their home. The family are located in the centre of Henley and are walking distance to Henley Bridge. As the area is all permit parking only and the client is unable to apply for another permit, the Nanny would need to park their own car a very short walk away from the house and the client would pay for their parking daily (if required). 

 

Their eldest child does have ASD, although mild. 

 

A Nanny who has experience of potty training would be ideal, as their daughter is currently toilet training. 

 

The family are open to considering a NWOC, if they are of a similar age and are able to fit all car seats in their vehicle safely. There is use of a duty car for the Nanny, if its only the clients 2 children.

Cruise Ship – Departing Southampton and travelling around the EU only

Minimum of 5 hours childcare per day, at rate of £25ph

 

A family are travelling around the EU on a large and well-known cruise ship, which will depart from Southampton on the 23rd July around mid-afternoon.

The Nanny will have their own bedroom with full board for the duration and the children will be with the Nanny for a minimum of 5 hours per day. This may consist of evening babysitting and/or taking the children in between ‘kids club’ timings for lunch or dinner.

There will be time for down time and exploring for yourself on the cruise, as the children will mainly be in the ‘kids club’ during the day on board the cruise. There are a few days where the parents and grandparents may go to shore and see some excursions, and this is when the children will be solely in your care. These days are tbc and you would be paid additional for any hours you worked over the 5 hours per day, at a rate of £25ph.

A valid British Citizen Passport will be required for this role and it should have more than 3 months duration left, before the 6th August 2023. COVID-19 vaccinations are not mandatory for this cruise.

The summer holidays will be filled with activities organised by the Nanny and by the mum, who will take an active part as she is a stay-at-home mum. There will be trips to Legoland, the zoo, the farm, an aquarium, woodland walks, splash parks, crafting activities at home etc.

The Nanny will take an active part in planning exciting activities alongside the mum for the holiday periods. There is a wide age range in the ages of their daughters, so a Nanny who can relate and enjoy these ages would be beneficial.

There will be elements of sole-charge, where the mother will need to attend appointments without the children and the Nanny and the Nanny should be confident with looking after all 3 children at the same time.

Likewise, there will also be opportunities where the Nanny may only have the two youngest children as the mother would like to spend 1:1 time with her eldest.
